“Let us help to ease the pressure”
Debt Recovery, Business Solicitors, Insolvency in Newtown, Welshpool, Shrewsbury, Aberystwyth, Rhayader, Llanidloes, Powys and Mid Wales
What do we mean?
Cash-flow – or lack of it - can make or break a business. Debtors may have a variety of reasons for delaying payment. The easiest option sometimes is to ignore a difficult issue but this can have serious implications for a business. We can help ease the stress of dealing with such a situation by being involved as early as possible. This will enable you to focus on what you do best. Contact us to begin the process of recovering payment.
Why outsource your debt recovery?
You can select which debts you want to outsource to us. This enables you to distance yourself from the debt recovery process, at the same time, helping you to preserve your relationship with your customer or client.
We are experienced in dealing with difficult situations and, although we will always adopt a constructive and conciliatory approach to recovering your debt, if necessary we have the expertise to be able to take the matter to Court.
What will it cost?
An initial letter could cost as little as £25.00 plus VAT. In our experience, this often proves to be sufficient. If not, we will work out with you a commercial plan for taking the matter forward. Any claim you instruct us to issue on your behalf will include your full entitlement for costs and interest under the Court Rules. Contact us now.
What outcomes can I expect?
The emphasis these days is on alternative dispute resolution in respect of disputes e.g. mediation, arbitration or other forms of negotiation. We deal with matters in a constructive and conciliatory manner. However, realistically, some disputes can only be resolved by going to Court. In such situations, your best interests will be our priority whether you are bringing a claim or having to defend one.
How long does it take?
Court proceedings are driven by timetables imposed by the Court designed to ensure that disputes are efficiently resolved as quickly as possible. Rather than going to Court, other forms of alternative dispute resolution can be arranged at fairly short notice as this is a more informal method of resolution - but one which has to be agreed by all parties. Contact us to discuss all of your options.
