I would like to register title to my land?

If you wish to register your land at the Land Registry, we have a wealth of experience in this field with a high volume turnover of applications - in fact, we have a direct link to our own dedicated team at the Land Registry for Wales who deal with all of our submissions.

Are you considering a land transaction?

We can help with your purchase or sale of land including the grant of easements, granting or taking grazing agreements, agricultural tenancies, boundary disputes and dealing with sporting rights to name just a few areas we often deal with. Contact us for an appointment.

Are you thinking about retiring any time soon?

We often advise in the area of inheritance tax and estate planning with particular experience in agricultural land and farms. Did you know, for example, that if you have made a verbal promise to leave property to someone who then relies upon that promise, that person may have a claim against your estate? It is therefore very important to make a Will (which only takes effect on your death) clearly setting out your wishes. It is unwise to leave unresolved issues of this kind to chance as it may cause friction and upset in the future.

With the increasing importance of renewable energy, we are frequently asked to advise and deal with documentation for landowners who have been approached by windfarm developers - as well as individuals who are considering developing their own land with renewable energy projects themselves. Our experience extends to planning law and public enquiries. Contact us for specialist advice.

How do we work?

We work with a wide network of professionals in many disciplines whose expertise we can call in on your behalf e.g. surveyors, land agents, chartered accountants, commercial estate agents, planning consultants, architects, structural and civil engineers and financial advisers.

What about your farming partnership?

A partnership is an arrangement between two or more people in a common enterprise aiming to make a profit. It is important that there is a written agreement regulating the relationship between the farming partners. Problems can arise in the absence of any such document.  You may already have an existing agreement that needs to be reviewed or you may have no written agreement: Contact us to assess your needs. See our section Partnership & Company for more information.

Milwyn Jenkins & Jenkins have handled various transactions for me for over 35 years. Indeed, the firm also acted for my late father since the 1950s. I have always found the service to be excellent and second to none.
